Question
I got pointe shoes about a year ago, and ive been practising like mad, but I have really weak ankles, and I dont see any improvement. I've done hundreds of releves already. 32 each time I practise. Could you please tell me what exercises I can do to strengthen my feet to get a good pointe?

cheers

Answer
Hi Jess. Here is an article describing foot exercises that will give you strength and control in pointe shoes:

You can do these 6 days a week - and use a golf ball or a rubber ball to roll around under your feet and relax the muscles afterwards.

All the best, Dianne.
