Question
Dear Dianne,
My daughter is 13 and was accepted to San Francisco and SAB summer intensives.  She is leaning towards SAB - do you think that's a wise choice?  She doesn't want to ruin chances of auditioning again for SF if she turns them down this year.  Thank you for the feedback!

Answer
Hi Sarah.I truly don't know if your daughter is risking that or not. I hope she can choose according to her training needs and not worry about the future relationship - the thing with auditions is, a student is chosen from a group - and it can be a very different group next time.

And with different people, perhaps, on the panel.

The following summer is still a year and a half away. She might want to be somewhere entirely different by then.

I hope this helps, regards, Dianne.
