Ballet/flat feet and big toe pain on pointe

Question
Hi, I started pointe work about 5 months ago, and I have flat feet. I feel like my feet are getting progressively stronger. However, it's difficult for me to make it through pointe class because I get a sharp pain in the corner of my big toe only on my right foot that starts 10-15 minutes after the class starts. I think it might be from having flat feet since my left foot is slightly stronger, I tend to go onto the big toe more, but with my right foot I tend to sickle. Any tips on how to help relieve the pain, or how to strengthen my right foot?

Answer
Hello Olivia,

As soon as pain appears in a regular way, I am sorry I can not take the responsibility of answering your question. Pain is a body's reaction to something wrong, you should absolutely meet a doctor and ask him/her a professionnal advice.
