Question
I have been invited to three ballet intensives.Ballet Chicago.ABT in Austin andKaatsbaan.Presently attending ballet school with High school programme.Could you advise on choice of camp to help my danc progress.Thank you

Answer
Hi Rebecca. Congratulations for your being accepted into three amazing dance academies!

I must give you an honest answer - which is, all three of these ballet summer intensives have highly credentialed instructors. I would have no reason to pick one over the other.

I am sure you have also checked the teachers in each of the three locations, and - I do not see how you could go wrong with any of these.

So how to choose? 1) cost for your parents 2) closest to home/convenience of travel 3)any instinct/intuitive choice?

I should mention that if you are a serious dance student aiming for a professional career in a ballet company - who would not pick ABT. YET, Kaatsbaan has 2 people teaching/founders who are both or have been affiliated with ABT at the highest level.

The choice must be yours - and I hope I have helped a bit. Regards, Dianne
