when will i be able to wear point shoes i am ten and have taken ballet since i was two i am the best in my whole class
In the Vaganova Academy in Russia girls start pointe at the age of 9. However, they take ballet class every day and follow a strict curriculum. I would discuss this question with your teacher as he or she as seen you dance and knows how strong your feet are. Doing pointe is exciting, but it can be dangerous if your body or technique are not ready for the challenge. Ask your teacher their opinion! Good luck.

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help
