Question
I am about to graduate from Towson University with a BFA in Dance Performance.  I am looking for a contemporary ballet company to join after graduation, but I am struggling to locate many on thee internet besides Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago.  Could you throw out a few more contemporary ballet companies in the United States for me, please?

This question is actually a bit out of my knowledge base, but one major one that I know of other than Hubbard Street is Alonzo King's Lines Ballet in San Francisco (www.linesballet.org)... beautiful company and definately worth looking into. Another that pops to mind is the Urban Ballet Theater (www.urbanballettheater.org) in NYC. Many of the smaller companies around the country such as Tulsa Ballet and Ballet Austin perform classical ballet but also put a lot of focus on more contemporary works... and there are a lot of those companies out there.

Experience

I have not danced professionally, but I am a dedicated student of ballet and modern dance. I have taken classes in dance history, performed in amateur productions, attended professional performances, and read and watched many books and videos on the subject.
