Question
hi, im thinking about becoming a aprentice in a ballet company. on there website it says a aprwentice earns about half the salary of a full company member. the problem is that they dont say how much a company member or aprentice makes. so my question is: how much does the average ballet company member make a year?

Hi Rissa. Dancers' salaries usually start around $400 per week and go up from there with experience and placement in the company. A small company that is not union may pay less, hopefully not too much.
