Question
Hello, Im 15, and I was wandering if it was a good idea to go to ballet, even thought i never had a experience to ballet. For some reason I want to do it, because I have nothing else to do. So I came up idea, to be ballet dance. I just wanderinh if its going to be hard for me. Im not fat, I weigh 118 pounds and 5'5...so am I to late to do it

Hi Rosemary. It would be difficult for you to catch up in training at a professional level, but for learning and enjoying ballet, you can start anytime. You would need to find a studio that has beginner classes for your age level.

Take a class for a few months and see if you like it. It is a terrific work out, while being artistic at the same time.

However, if you are interested in another performing art like maybe acting, that doesn't require the athletic skills, consider that it might be a better investment of your time. If you discover that you have a talent there and you enjoy it, you could go on to become professional.
