Question
um I've been studying ballet for 3 years now and none of my tendus look right at all! i would like to know how to push my heel more forward so it looks like the professionals. could you please help?

Answer
it sounds like your problem is that you're sickling your foot.  first of all, make sure when you point your foot that your big toe lines up with the middle of your foot, not the side.  then make sure that you are turning out when you tendu.  (always turn out from the hip socket while holding your basic stance)  hope this helps!

Expertise

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help

Experience

I've seen ballet since the age of 0, because of my parents, and I am training to become a professional dancer now.
