Hello David!
I am a intermediate Lindy Hop (also Tango and Balboa) dancer living in Berlin/Germany and I like to dance on different kind of music. I would like to try to dance to modern pop, RnB, Hip Hop and other contemporary music. Any suggestions of songs (apart from electro swing) which have swing dance rhythms would be highly appreciated!!! Thank you very much. Adele

Adele:
    You have great english language skills.
    Your question is very challenging because music likes and tastes are so subjective, and individual.  I do not know what songs you like, or your dance level and style, or past likes and dislikes.      
    I will just do a cross section of different songs some you will like, some you will hate or ignore, and a few you will love.
    I am not the best expert on modern contemporary music but I will do my best - take some of my favorites from my 6000 songs on my ipod. They are from the period 1930-2010. remember there are many version of each song so listen to diferent versions till you find your favorite. They are all USA songs.  sometimes i listed the version I prefer but you may like another version. These are some of the most popular requested  swing when I teach dancing on international cruise ships. If you have further questions ask another specific question. I hope this gives you a start.

I got a 2 year degree at Los angeles city college, and 2 years study at LA state university. majoring in Psychology, and sociology.
