Hi,

My fiance and I have a song that we wanted to dance to, "My girl," by the temptations and it'll be our first dance song. I was wondering if you know what dance can go with the song? Waltz?salsa? chacha?, etc. Thanks.

Hi Kai!

To me, the dance that best fits this song is West Coast Swing. It's Motown, so I would stay away from the ballroom and latin dances, because they don't let you "groove" as much as West Coast, and I assume that since you picked the Temptations, you want to groove.

My recommendation though is to find a great teacher who specializes in West Coast Swing  with some Latin background as well, and they will choreograph a great wedding dance for you!
