Question I am going to a 7:05 game on Wednesday 5/26/04. What time is batting practice start?
Answer Hi Bob,
I haven't been able to make it to an Oriole home game for several years now due to logistics but when I did attend home games, the schedule was always that the gates would open an hour and a half before the game started and the Orioles were always taking batting practice as we entered the stadium. So while I can't say for sure, I would expect the gates to open at 5:30 and then the Orioles take batting practice until 6:15 or so followed by a round of infield by each team and then the final cleanup by the grounds crew.
