What are the names of the two Oriole players that were quarterbacks for a Big Eight team? Some one asked me this and I didn't know the answer. I hope you do...
Two Oriole players who fit your description are Phil Bradley and Jim Traber, who happened to play for the Orioles at the same time.
Phil Bradley, who was an outfielder for the Orioles in 1988-1989, played quarterback for Missouri from 1977-1980. He was All-Big Eight quarterback from 1978-1980. At the time he graduated, he was the Big Eight's all-time total yardage leader.
Jim Traber, who was a first baseman for the Orioles in 1984, 1986, and 1988-1989, played quarterback at Oklahoma State from 1980-1982.
