Question Hello Tony,
I'm hoping you can help me find out what position Ken Gephart played for the Orioles. (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly. He was #38. I was also wondering what years he played. Thanks in advance for any information you might know on this player.

The player you're speaking of is Ken Gerhart who played for the Orioles from 1986 through 1988. Ken played the outfield as a reserve in 1986 and as a spot starter in 1987 and 1988. He played in 20 games his first year, 92 games his second year, and 103 games his final year. He never played in the major leagues for any other team.
Ken batted .232 with one home run in 1986, then batted .243 with 14 home runs in 1987, and finally hit .195 with nine home runs in 1988. His major league totals were a .221 batting average with 24 home runs. I hope this helps.
