Question
Do you happen to have any statistics and profile on the picture, last name "Stone" that used to pitch for the Orioles?  thanks for your help

Answer
Hi Patrick,

There are two pitchers with the last name of Stone who have pitched for the Baltimore Orioles. The first one was Dean Stone who pitched 17 games for the 1963 Orioles. But I imagine the pitcher you're referring to is Steve Stone. Steve pitched the final three seasons of his career for the Orioles from 1979-1981. In 1979 he was 11-7 with an ERA of 3.77. 1980 was his career year in which he went 25-7 with an ERA of 3.23 and was named the American League Cy Young award winner. In 1981 his record fell off to 4-7 and an ERA of 4.60 as he experienced arm trouble that ended his career. His career stats are as follows:

107 wins, 93 losses, 320 games, 269 games started, 43 complete games, 7 shutouts, 1 save, 1788 innings pitched, 1707 hits allowed, 184 home runs allowed, 716 walks allowed, 1065 strikeouts, and 3.97 ERA
