Question
why were the ravens looking to trade down from the 5th pick in the draft .and who are the ravens eyeing at the 5th pick now..

Answer
The Ravens feel there are only 3 or 4 can't miss, top picks. 5 to about 12 or 13 are all about the same. If someone in the top 3 or 4, such as Peter Warrick doesn't somehow slip down to number 5, they feel they might be able to get extra draft picks in the second or third round and still get about the same quality player at 12 as they would at 5.

They seem to be looking at RB Thomas Jones or WR Plaxico Burress at the moment. But there seems to be a feeling that they are trying to work a trade with Cincinnati for Pickens or Dillon if they could. So that would affect the draft strategy if it did happen. Really can't be sure what will happen till probably the last minute on April 15th, as they probably won't decided for sure till it's their turn on the board.
