Question
I got a double stalk lucky bamboo as a gift two months back. Since then it is put in a glass bowl in my bedroom. I stay in a hot climate region (delhi). I am giving it filtered water after i received it (filtered by an RO system). Still i am finding a deposition of white salt like thing on the stems of the bamboo. Even the glass bowl is also having the salt deposition. its not growing much but leaves also are green. Only a few leaves are having brown tips. A few stems are light green in color and a few dark green. I am really scared if it is dying. What shall i do to keep it healthy. it is almost 8-10 inches tall. Please give me suggestion on this.

Answer
Dear Sarika
It is very common in this plant. Don't worry and don't give it filtered water, because it takes minerals through water only. So use simple tap water for some time and change it regularly. If again find any problem then again contact.
