sir: i've been doing some reading on how to get rid of some bamboo i have on my property, but i have yet to come up with any serious solution to the problem, something that will truly work and what time of the year would be best to attempt anything. i read somewhere that Nerium Oleander could be used, but i don't know where to get it, if i can at all, or maybe just a stand of the plants themselves would solve this problem. if there is a good way to eliminate the bamboo i have, i would appreciate any advice you can give me. thanks, Bruce

Generally people face the same problem like you, but there is no effective solution except its complete removal either manually or by any other mean. Some toxic substances can be used but they may be harmful for animals and human beings so plz ignore them.

Comment	I just wanted to thank Dr. Kumar for his quick response to my question. I was hoping there was something more i could do but his response did keep me from doing some things that might be more harmful than just leaving it alone. Thanks
