Hello my name is Lennon but you can call me Leni or Len, anyway I'm only seventeen years old and am a agent/manager for a inspiring band called Hijira(which is a rock/grunge kind of band). straight to the point I don't really know what a manager is supposed to do, so lately I've been sending in the music to be copy writed and my song writer and head of the band is well...in jail and so is my lead singer, though my writer Dante* is planning to get out on the 29th of this month, I still find myself at a loss as to what a good agent is supposed to do. so if you could please get back to me and help me i would really appreciate it. well...first you have to draw up goals for the band...what do they want to accomplish.you need to work on image, stage presence ans music. you are a referee to the band when fights break out. you have to get them guidance. the best advice is to look up your favorite band and all that you see that i listed above....the manager did. also, make sure they understand and commit to you calling the shots. you must be a leader and a baby sitter. google "band manager" duties and that will help you out. remember, be a leader and put the best interest of the band first and don't forget....image and personable is first....music will take care of it self.

I have been responsible for the promotion and international success of my current band the catz in the hatz. We are on over 500 internet / college and commercial stations in the U.S.A. I have opened for The Pointer Sister's, America and 3 Dog Night. I am currently a working professional recording artist as bass player for The Catz in the Hatz (lots of top 10 positions as of this writing) and beyond as well as being signed to Rhombus Records. I am the founder and CEO of Local Scene Records. I can help you get to the same level if you are committed. I will be tough but you need that right now.
