Subject: Defination of Commercialism

Question
I am writing to you because you were the closest expert to the field of my question.  I need to know the definition of commercial programming and who regulates that.  Can you help?

Answer
Hi There Joanie,

The subject Commercial programming could mean many different set of disciplines, well in broadcasting this usualy refers to the commercial content of the program, this are advertisements, productions, guests, and plug inns, usually the commercial advertisement constitute a major part of the commercial aspect of a program.

Usually they are self regulating, meaning there is always, an organization within the industry that regulates their members, as to the quality and moral content of the advertisement etc.

I hope this helps, if you could be more specific about the field of interest on commercial programming I will try to give my knowledgeable answer.

Best regards
