p.s any thoughts on removing a freeze...
haerd something about $1000. per incident?

Answer
This sounds like it is a secured debt and, if so, the lien remains after the bankruptcy case.  However, they can't freeze your account 2 years later.  They can, of course, repossess your vehicle if you are not making your payments.  You need to have an attorney in your area look at all the relevant documents in this matter.
