Question
OUR BANKRUPTCY WAS DISCHARGED IN OCT.  WE ARE SENIOR CITIZENS AND NEED TO PURCHASE A USED CAR.  WILL WE BE ABLE TO FINANCE A CAR NOW.? OR WILL A NEW CAR BE MORE ACCEPTABLE TO LENDERS....WHAT A MESS TO BE IN...MUST CASH  BE INVOLVED AND WHAT ABOUT CO-SIGNERS DOES THAT HELP>>THANK YOU   NANCY

Answer
I cannot tell you what an individual lender/dealer is going to do or not do.  You may have difficulty getting financing compared to before, but you should still try.  A lot depends on your job status/income and other factors unrelated to the bankruptcy case as to whether a lender will extend you credit.   And yes, getting co-signers can help.
