Question
I live in Illinois. I will be paying my last payment on my chapter 13 tomorrow. But due to price increases I have fallen behind 6 months on my mortgage. What can I do to keep my home? Can I refinance or file for another 13?

Answer
You can usually work out a deal with the lender, thru loan modification, refinance, or other type of restructuring.  You could do another chapter13, but it shouldn't be the best option available to you. Talk to your lender to see what different options they may have.
