Question
I am behind because i lost my job by 1555.00 ive found a new job and started paying again.  They cant add it on to the end since im at the max 5 yrs.  What can i do.. i need this and i don't have 1555.00 and the trustee wont let me get a loan. can i make additional payments inside of a certain amount of time to fix this so i don't get dismissed?

Answer
Absent a motion to dismiss, you can cure any default as soon as you can.  You can send in extra payments to get caught up.  If there is a motion to dismiss, you would either need to cure the default or bring a motion to either defer a payment or modify the plan to lower the payment.  This could be possible if several creditors did not file claims, thus discharging them completely with no payment, this could free up some room at the end of the case.
