Question
i filed bankruptcy in september 2008,it's almost discharged,my question is, can they take my tax refund?

Answer
Depending on your state, tax refunds may have to be turned over to the trustee.  Normally, the trustee would have told you at your meeting.  In other states, you may have enough exemptions available to protect the refund.  Contact your lawyer and/or trustee to be sure.
