Question
My Bankruptcy was discharged in 2005. In my credit report, the Bankruptcy is listed along with all the companies that were included in my Bankruptcy. As you can imagine the number of negatives on my report!
Does the credit report have to include the Bankruptcy and the credit card coompanys?

Answer
Your bankruptcy will show on the report for 10 years.
Your debts that were included in the case should be zero'd out, and show that they were discharged thru bankruptcy.  Your credit since the bankruptcy will help to improve your score, make your payments on time, do not over-extend your self, pay off your debt each month and that should help your credit score.  Most cases I have seen have increased their credit score by 75-100 points a year later by being careful with their credit.
