Question
If we already went to the Trustee meeting- the trustee asked us to step out of the room, that he had to speak to our lawyer - when our lawyer came out the trustee changed our payment from $200.00 to $450.00 -- We noticed on our paperwork- that a big expense was missing- daycare for 450.00 a month-- I have been calling my lawyer and he still has not gotten back to me.  Can this be fixed before it goes before the judge- or is it basically what the trustee says- because we can not afford that
Thank you for any help

Answer
Your lawyer has the obligation to you to file any appropriate amendments based on reasonable and necessary expenses.  I am not sure why the plan increased---whether you have to pay back more to protect assets, or if it was based on disposable income.  Your should go to your lawyers office if he won't return your calls, and bring in proof of any additional expenses to use for an amendment.
