Question
IN MY BK (ALL UNSECURED CREDIT AND 1 CAR) THE DEADLINE TO FILE COMPLAINTS FOR OBJECTING TO MY DISCHARGE WAS FEB 2nd 09, SO NATURALLY I THOUGHT THAT THIS THING WAS ALMOST OVER (WE FIELD ON OCT 31st 08.  NOW IM BEING TOLD THAT SINCE MY LAWYER DOESN'T SIGN OFF ON CAR REAFFIRMATION THAT WE WILL HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER HEARING, IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL OPINION HOW CLOSE ARE WE TO A DISCHARGE.

Answer
Assuming no objections to discharge were filed, you should receive your discharge shortly after the reaffirmation agreement is approved or denied by the court at the hearing.  You may want to have your attorney follow up with the clerk's office after the hearing to expedite it, since sometimes their tickler system doesn't follow up immediately.
