Question
I filed Ch11 Bankruptcy in Jul 08 due to a failing home building business that left me personally liable for the debts.  I am now making my monthly payments to the trustee.  How can I get the bankruptcy off of my credit report sooner than the 7-10 years?

Answer
First of all, there usually isn't a trustee in a Chapter 11 case unless one was appointed by the court due to malfeasance or some similar reason, so I doubt that's what you filed.  Anyway, the answer to your question is "no".   Bankruptcy can be reported on your credit for up to 10 years after the date of filing.
