Question
I live in Michigan,  I filed bankruptcy petition on Nov 10, 2009.  It time to file the income tax return for 2009 year ending.  Do, I file any differently because I am still in the process of bankruptcy?   Do, I file then amend my petition, will I loose my refund?

Answer
You file taxes like normal.  No special filings because of the case.
You should contact your lawyer, and if you do not have one, the trustee to see if your jurisdiction requires you to turn over all or a portion or none of your refund. It varies district by district and by trustee, also depending on the exemptions you used.  Good luck
