Bankruptcy Law/secured or unsecured?

Question
What catagory does a auto loan fall under? Secured or unsecured? I live in Oregon, and am filling out the schedules for ch 7 BK.

Answer
If you still have possession of the vehicle then you would list the loan as a secured loan under schedule D and you would link it to the vehicle listed in schedule B. If the vehicle has been repossessed and you are no longer in possession of the vehicle then you would list the auto loan under schedule F as unsecured debt.
