Question
Having surgery soon...will bankruptcy payments be deducted from short term disability?

Answer
Your question makes me assume that you are either in a Chapter 13 or Chapter 11 case, although you don't specify.  Unless the courts in your jurisdiction set up automatic payments, you are responsible for making the Plan payment you have proposed.  There may be a way to set up automatic payments from your disability, but you need to contact your case Trustee to set that up.

I hope this answers your question; I wasn't clear on exactly what you meant.
