Bankruptcy Law/Chapter 13 Discharge

Question
I filed Chapter 13 in Ohio in 2002.  My case was due to be discharged on August 20th, 2007 and I have not yet received any confirmation that my plan is complete.  How long does it normally take to have the payroll witholdings stop after reaching the end of the plan?

Answer
Once you approach the end of your case, the trustee will audit the file to make sure everyone was paid as they were supposed to be.  Once the plan is complete, the trustee will notify payroll that you are done. If any funds were sent in after you were done, they will be returned.
