Question
I have a client that shows 3 BK on their credit report, two CH-13 that both "dismissed" and they are followed by a CH-7. Now the client claims that he never filed the CH-7 and never went through the liquidation process. I guess my question is of whom do I have the client contact to have the discrepancies removed and/or corrected?

Answer
If something is inaccurate on a credit report, you need to go through the administrative process of contesting it first with the credit bureaus, then if that doesn't work, you need to engage the services of a lawyer specializing in the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
