Question
bankrutcy discharged in 1999 included group disability overpayment of benefits group insurance has still continue to recoup i recently informed them that son turned 18 so my ss was reduced and asked that now i receive benefits to stay within my 60% income limit and they respond by senting me a letter telling me they would be mailing me a check for my increase amount. the next day received letter saying they are applying to overpayment.trustee is no longer there to ask if this was in my discharge order how can they continue to do this and thought i would get your
opinion on this problem

Answer
You need to 1. verify that they got the bankruptcy notice (this is the government after all)  2. that you did not incur any overpayment since the date your case was filed for which they could apply it towards.

Your bankruptcy attorney should be able to help you with this.
