Question
HI.
My house got foreclosed and I have 2nd mortgage loan debt and other credit card debts and I have a store(small convinient store) under my name(LLC type)).  Would filing chapter 7(or 13) (personally) effect my Businness(LLCtype)??  I am not filing because of my business but personal.  Please help.

Answer
Your interest in the LLC is an asset of your bankruptcy estate.  Depending on what your interest is worth, and what exemptions you have available under your state's laws, and what chapter of bankruptcy you file, it may be affected.  There's no way to know without having a comprehensive consultation with a bankruptcy attorney in your area.
