Is there really such a thing as "all things in moderation" in the bible, and if so what does it mean.

This is in reference to sin mainly. When someone speaks of moderation it means this. There is very little that we can do that would separate us from God completely. If we do not accept Christ and make Him Lord of our life then that is the sin that is unforgivable. If you want to have a beer or a drink with dinner then go ahead. This is not sin. When you live to get drunk and let it control your life then that is the sin. All things in moderation is a little simple, but it has some truth. God is not about telling us what we should do and how to live. We have to live for God and witness to others about what God has done in our lives and bring people to the truth of Christ. I honestly do not know of anywhere that this phrase is in the Bible. This is a concept about sin. I hope this helps and come back if I did not answer what you wanted.
