Question
i am reading "study in the scriptures by "the associated bible students? also charles to russell. What am I reading? I am a born again Christian just under 4 years and without much knowledge and do not want to be steered in the wrong direction.
is this man a born again christian? and if not how do his views differ from that of a born again christian?

Answer
Hi Kim,
Thank you for your question. My advice is that you avoid anything by Charles T Russell. He was the founder of the movement known as the Jehavah's Witnesses who amongst other things deny that Jesus was God, do not believe in the trinity, believe that the death of Jesus only atoned for the sin of Adam and so our own salvation has to be earned (thus they deny the central truth of salvation by grace through faith alone). They also believe that they are the only true church.
These are serious errors and the movement is, in my opinion, very dangerous.
I hope these comments are of some help to you.
