Question
  Would a half human half animal hybrid  be human and have salvation? Christ was human and died for humans. How much animal organs, blood, genes makes a human no longer human? One drop of human blood injected into a chimpanzee does not make it human and vice versa. But what about GENE SPLICING which man is about beginning to attempt? If the Bible has all the answers let's here it's answers to this one. Perhaps science will discover a "soul gene" that humans have that no animals have. Thank you.

This is a very interesting question. Humans are not just another animal.  They are made in the image of God, therefore, I do not believe that science will be capable of making something that is not basically human.... all attempts, I believe, will fail.

Gen 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
