Question
I have a question for those who believe in a god. My question is how do you know whether or not a prayer of yours was answered by your god or not another god. For example lets say you need $200 to pay for your bills. As a result you pray to your god. That same day you win $200 on a lottery ticket or something else happens. So you got the $200 but my question is how do you know that it was your god who was responsible. Couldn't it also have been another god such as Allah, Zeus or Horus. How do you know that your prayer was answered by your god. Is there some special sign or signal to know that is was indeed your god or do you just say it must have been my god and thats that.

There is only one God  The triune-God of the Bible and sent His own Son to pay for the sins of mankind.

Basically, other than the Bible, I have history, archeaology, the sciences, fulfilled and being fulfilled prophesy, personal and cultural changes, etc, etc to prove my God is the true God.  None of the rest have that and most all of the others have fallen out of favor with man. They couldn't hold the hearts of men because they came out of the hearts of men and man's wicked heart is in constant flux.  

Indeed, I have testimony on almost a daily basis that Jesus is the only true God based on the information below.  Indeed, you may be even be a witness to His deity and not even know it.

HOW CAN I KNOW THAT CHRIST IS THE RIGHT ONE?

    "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:13

    "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, BLASPHEMERS, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy," II Tim: 2:1,2 Paul accurately describes today's society.  All the mentioned characteristics fulfill prophecy and give validity to the claim that the Bible is God's Word and the Bible says that Jesus is THE Son of God.

    The predication of men being blasphemers is very significant.
The definition of blasphemy is the act of insulting God or showing contempt for or lack of reverence for God; also, claiming the attributes of deity or having irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable.

    Who do people curse and swear by?  GOD and JESUS CHRIST! Who do many cultists claim to be?  JESUS CHRIST!  What name is sacred to many, and yet, most people show little reverence to it?  JESUS CHRIST!

    I have been in other countries and have not found people using the name of Buddha or Allah in vain, or claiming to be them.  One would be executed!  Even in those countries, the most popular curse is JESUS CHRIST! By their own lips they confirm the deity of Christ, because God said in the end times, men would be blasphemers of GOD and today they blaspheme no one else as CHRIST is blasphemed!  They mock Him now, as they did on the Cross, nearly two thousand years ago.

    There is no doubt that JESUS is THE Christ, THE SON OF GOD. If after reading this, you will reject Christ, you fulfill other verses in the Bible. "But if our Gospel be HID, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of CHRIST, who is THE image of GOD, should shine unto them (II Corinthians 4:3,4).

    Why not accept THE Way and THE Truth and be saved from sin and Hell?  If you would like to be saved, use the following prayer as an example to tell God and His Son, Jesus, you want salvation! The words are not magical.  God looks on the heart and, not the lips.   Call out to Him, in your own way! You may call longer or louder than someone else. That is fine! Just call before it is too late!

    Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died and rose again to pay for my sins.  I want Him to be my King and Saviour.  Please forgive me for my sins.  I want to turn from my sin and, with your help, to obey You.  Save me now, for Jesus' sake.  Thank You for saving me, Amen.

I wrote this back in 1978 and it is even more relevant today. See, everytime I hear someone use Jesus' name in vain or in some other way profane or disrespect Him I have proof that He is the one and only.  

Brian prove to me there isn't a God and how after seeing the immense complexity of the human body and diversity of life on this planet you can believe in random chance when even science disproves that theory.  One of the Huxleys said that there are only two possibilites; creation or evolution.  Yet, with all the holes in evolution people still refuse to even consider the only other option.  That is not scientific but it is an extreme act of faith making evolution a religion not a science.

You will find some real science and evidences that God is real there but we will never get God under a microscope so no matter how much we can prove scientifically salvation will still be of faith for you cannot find God in science. You can see His footprints and thumbprints, yea even a signature on His creation like an artist who signs his piece, but you will never see God unto perfection or completion. He is spiritually discerned by faith and manifested by obedience. Hence those who must see God completely through science will be damned though they hold thousands of pieces of His work in their hands. He is the creator of the puzzle they hold not the puzzle itself.

May the only God reach out to you and draw you in arms of love to His Son and the truth.

Life is nothing but grabbing for dollars.

I must sing, dance, and definitely get high,

There is just one rub, what if there is a Hell?

I have studied Rousseau, Kant, and Descartes, you see,
So what is this crucified Saviour to me?
I have got money to burn and fine wine to quaff,
But, what if this resurrection thing is not a laugh?

I have followed Buddha, Mohammed, and done yoga awhile,
But being a repentant sinner is just not my style!
