Blessings! My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 5 yrs now, and we have decided to go to a fertility clinic.  I did read someone else's answer having to do with this and the woman had 6 kids, but it just struck me out of nowhere.  God is the giver of life, and only He has the right to take it away.  Now if I am going about this through a clinic and if I am physically through science, bringing a life into this world.  A life that God has not chosen to give me on His own.  Wouldn't that be the opposite extreme of killing?  Because Only He can give life and take it. I have an unsettling feeling in my heart.  Please give me your thoughts and opinion, and pray for me please.  Thank you, Grettel

Thank you for this interesting question.  All of the science in the world will not make a baby unless God blesses their efforts.  If you are able to get fertility help that God has blessed you enough to afford, then this is another tool that our gracious God has given you.  I have members in my church who have grandkids because of this.  There are many attempts at fertility that do not work... God still is the giver of life.

Psalm 127:1
