Baptists/A Pastor's Calling

Question
Blessings Elder Madden,
Ive been married to my husband for 10 years and for the past four I've been serving the Lord, about 6 years ago I commited adultery and my husband has not forgiven me alhtough I have fervently prayed for God to change his heart and forgive me. Just recently 6 months ago one of many of my prays were answered for my husband to accept the calling of God, although i suffered a great deal, in the past iam grateful to see him pastoring, but there is one problem he still reminds of my sin and time to time says indirect gestures to me. I repented a long time ago and asked him and God to forgive me. Living with this accusation is very difficult and how could he accept the pastors calling and not forgive me. I love him and I don't want him to condemn himself becuase of not forgiven me. It hurts me to the bone, Iam well educated theolgy studies in the scriptures and it seems like the door won't shut. Iam not doing the right? Please pray for me your site has been helpful in viewing the site, I Believe we all need guidance, deliverance by God. What Can I possibly do biblcally speaking. Should I keep praying?
Thanks,
Be Blessed! :)

Answer
Frances,

God bless you sister. By all means yes, keep praying! This is your spiritual lifeline. I will most defiinantly be in prayer for you and your husband. As to what you can do, it seems that you are doing all that you can do. Like my former pastor told me once, when we make a withdrawal from our spouses "trust" account it takes a while before we can make enough deposits back into it for them to trust us once again. I'm not saying this is fair, or even Biblical, but it is true of some couple who are going through what you two are. I'm sure this is not what you wanted to hear, but it is what the Lord placed in my spirit to share with you. Allow the Lord to heal your marriage, your relationship, and trust in one another. Time, prayer, and placing your complete trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross is your answer sis.

Please let me know if this helps, or if you have any further questions.

Experience

I attended a fundamental independent Baptist church for many years. While attending the church I learned the doctrines and beliefs of the Baptist movement. I now attend an independent Pentecostal church. I have served there as an Elder for fourteen years. I minister in song with the choir and worship team. I am also the new member’s class coordinator, men's ministry director, and the Harvest Riders motorcycle ministry president.
In 1993 the Lord called me to "...preach the Gospel where ever I open the door..." I have had the privilege of ministering God's Word to churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. In those meetings we have seen the Lord save, heal, deliver, and fill people will His Spirit.

Organizations
I am ordained through Harvest Church, and with the World Harvest Ministerial Fellowship. I also am a licensed minister with the State of Oklahoma.

I am currently enrolled with the Ames Bible College.
