Baptists/Resolution to Purchase Property

Question
How do I write a resolution for a church that's agreeing to purchase property?

Answer
Dear Diana,
I apologize for being so late.  I asked my husband, but he's been so busy.  We're not sure where you're at in the process, but if the trustees of your church have already agreed to purchase the property, the chairman of the trustees should verbalize that agreement as a motion at the next business meeting, have it seconded, and voted on.  The secretary should note in the minutes that the church has voted on buying the property.  The trustee could give a description of the property to go in the minutes also.
Perhaps earlier in the process, the church could vote to authorize trustees or someone trustworthy, to negotiate terms for purchase of property.  At a business meeting, anyone could make a motion to that effect and see if others agreed.
If it isn't too late, maybe you can explain more, if we've misunderstood your situation.

Expertise

I have time for you. The Bible has been my guiding light for most of the 56 years of my life. My missionary parents in Brazil kindled a love for God`s Word by their example and their love for truth. The Lord has blessed my husband and me with responsible, independent children who love and serve the Lord and are our best friends. I would enjoy discussing any subject or problem from a Biblical perspective.

Experience

I help lead music in a small Southern Baptist Church. Although I rarely have the opportunity to play, I do play the bass guitar, drums, tambourine, harmonica and piano. I like Southern Gospel and praise choruses, but only know by heart the words from the hymnal, and my vocal range is half an octave lower than most music is written, but fortunately my husband transposes well and also plays by ear.
