Baptists/Apostles creed

Question
What can you say about the apostle's creed as a Baptist? What verse in the bible?

Answer
Blessings and thank you for your question.

As a Baptist, we follow a non-creedal tradition.  That means, we only follow the Bible and not what man says.

Having said that, overall there is only one thing that Baptists disagree with in the Apostle's creed.  When it says I believe in the holy catholic church, catholic means universal.  If you are talking about 1 universal body of Christ throughout the world, including every believing denomination, throughout history, then I would agree to that.  But if you mean catholic as in the Roman Catholic Church, then I don't agree.

Now if you want me to respond to any other part of the Apostle's creed, then ask.
