Baptists/Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Question
When does a believer in Christ receive the Holy Spirit.

Answer
Thanks for writing, Antonio.  The one true God is triune (NAME, not NAMES of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost Matthew 28:19), which is above limited human physical understanding.  If you believe in this true God (you agree with Him), then you have eternal life which extends beyond this limited physical existence.  You have the whole Trinity (I John 5:7) or you have none of Him.  We can't pick apart the Godhead (Romans 1:20) which is modeled by the created universe of Space, Matter (including energy as a form of matter), and Time, each permeating and representing the whole.  It is also reflected in His image--we being body, soul and spirit.
Some of the places that mention the Holy Spirit baptizing us into one Body are in I Cor. 12 and Eph.4. (There is not a Body of Christians who have the Holy Spirit, and another Body of Christians who don't have the Holy Spirit.)
Christians need to be filled with God's Spirit more and more as we entrust our SELF more and more to Him (grow to be more like Him by the power of the Spirit). (Eph.5:18-20, II Cor.3:18, Gal.1:20)
May we trust God in every aspect of our lives so His Spirit shines through us to encourage others to trust God.

Expertise

I have time for you. The Bible has been my guiding light for most of the 56 years of my life. My missionary parents in Brazil kindled a love for God`s Word by their example and their love for truth. The Lord has blessed my husband and me with responsible, independent children who love and serve the Lord and are our best friends. I would enjoy discussing any subject or problem from a Biblical perspective.

Experience

I help lead music in a small Southern Baptist Church. Although I rarely have the opportunity to play, I do play the bass guitar, drums, tambourine, harmonica and piano. I like Southern Gospel and praise choruses, but only know by heart the words from the hymnal, and my vocal range is half an octave lower than most music is written, but fortunately my husband transposes well and also plays by ear.
