About Pastor Don Carpenter
Expertise I believe that every word of the Bible is God-Breathed. This blessed book is the foundation of truth for faith and practice. If you ask this volunteer a question you will receive an answer from the Bible that is based upon a litteral, normal interpretation, taking into account the grammar and culture of the time.
Experience I have been in the ministry almost 20 years. During this time, the Lord has used me as Senior Pastor, counsellor, youth pastor and generally in the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry.

Question I have read that new believers are immature in the faith and struggle more on issues of assurance, loss of salvation, and doctrines. Any advice?
Answer Hi Kitty,
Thanks for thsi great question. It is true that new believers can struggle in these areas. Are you looking for advice to these new believers? If that is the case here are a few things that will help a new believer:
1. As soon as you get saved, get Baptized and publically declare your faith in Christ.
Acts 2:41
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
2. Read your Bible and pray every day.
Psalm 5:1-3
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. 2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. 3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
Psalm 119:9-11
9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
3. Go to church every time that the doors are open!
Hebrews 10:24-25
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
4. Share your faith with others.
John 15:16
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.
I hope that this will help you.
In Christ
Pastor Don
