Is it a sin to wear pants or makeup for women? Is a women permited to teach outside of church while being silent in the assembly

Answer
I have heard of some very strict churches that will not allow women to wear pants or makeup. I have never been in a church like that but I know they are still around. Also I believe that women can teach and also do many things in ministry. The only two offices in the church are Deacon and Pastor. The Bible is very specific about these offices. The first qualification for these offices is a man of one wife. This tells me that God made it very clear that a man was to run the church and women where to help. Now the most important issue that needs to be talked about is ones relationship with Jesus. I believe that women should dress modestly but that is where I stop my judgement. These type of issues can get in the way of ministry. Whenever something gets in the way of having a close relationship with Christ then it should be something left alone. Be careful that you don't focus on the grey areas and the forget what the black and white issues are.
