QUESTION: Thank you pastor! Can i have another question? Pastor, i understand that we can worship God any day of the week, but i am just confused why God said in Ezekiel 20:12,20 that the Sabbath is the sign of God between Him and his people, i am afraid God cannot recognize me because i am not keeping His Sabbath. And then, i am now confused because the disciples of Jesus kept the Sabbath even after Christ descend to heaven, and its seems to me that they gave importance on keeping it. What is your comment to that pastor? please consider my humble inquiry.

    Not sure when you submitted this question but I just got it this morning.
    God commanded the keeping of the Sabbath for the Jews.  The Disciples likewise kept the Sabbath because they were Jewish and as an indication to fellÓw Jews they, like Jesus, they did not purpose to destroy the law but to redeem people from the law.
    There are many who do not honor the Sabbath as it was intended.  The difference is most other people are not concerned about it.

QUESTION: Thank you pastor. But, how about the passage in Mark 2:27? that the Sabbath is for man, if this is true, i am human being so the Sabbath is for me also? am i right? please consider my too much inquiry i just want to know it. And lastly pastor, one lay pastor went into my house and told me that the sabbath is the seventh-day which is Saturday, as stated in Matt. 28:1, he told me about it and i cannot answer him. what do you think about this presetation pastor? i am now very confused.

The context of this verse implies that man was created first and then the Sabbath was instituted as a day of rest some have chosen to worship on the Sabbath but the intention was that it be a day of rest.  The Sabbath was not instituted before the creation of man.  The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week which is Saturday.
