"Hello D.David. i have a question on our religion. to tell you about me, im 17 years old, been saved. ive accepted Jesus as my savior. i love him with all my heart. I never mean to question the Lord, but im growing up in a town full of Atheists. all they base living on is science. they have no faith in God whatsoever. the thing is, when i listen to them, i start to think that maybe God doesnt exist. that its a myth. now im afraid of dying because there might not be a heaven. the world is just cruel and evil, and now im scared of living. do you have any advice on what i should do? thank you and God Bless!!!!!"

Hi Chris,

Thanks for sharing your concerns. I find it hard to put if across to you in appropriate words but will try my best.

The fact that you have accepted Jesus as you saviour, is the stand the devil does not like and will try to use all sort of means and way to get you out of that commitment. He uses our senses, like, eyes to see evil and sinful things.Taste, to try harmful substances, and so on.

When you gave your life to Jesus it is His. You live for Him not for yourself. By beholding Him you become changed into His likeness. Your thoughts are on His life, your plans are according to His will, your movement in society will be very noble, firm, upright and spiritually confident. You will neither fear death or circumstances, because the life you live, you live by faith(Gal 2:20)

Here are a few steps to make you more confident in His promises.

1. By Studying His word daily. When Moses came down from the Mount, his face was shinning, simply because he was in the presence of the Lord, so also will we shine when we are with Him studying His word.


2. The life of Jesus was from the Mountain to the Multitudes, Prayer was an essential practice for Jesus. To be in constant communion is to be spiritually powerful. 'A man who kneels down in prayer can stand up to anything'. More prayer more power, less prayer less power, no prayer no power. The secret of prayer is praying in secret.

3. Use every opportunity to tell others of Jesus. I know this will be difficult, but remember Jesus is real, Heaven is sure, His coming is imminent. All Heaven is by our side when we share Jesus to the world. For all power is given unto us to do His work.

Hold on son, Jesus is just at the door, very soon you will hear the word. Well Done, thou good and Faithful servant, enter in the Joy of the Lord, prepared for you.
