Question
Is it wrong to allow others to touch the sacrament plate with bare hands? where can I find this restriction or law in the bible?I belong to a missionary Baptist church.today communion was being administered to the congregation. the deacon passed the sacraments down the pew and others touched the plate without having on gloves. later a member of the church informed the deacon that he was wrong for passing the sacraments and allowing others to touch it with their bare hands.

Answer
John:
    Thank you for your question.
I know of no scriptural prohibition against touching the plates with bare hands, nor do. I know of any verse that requires the wearing of gloves.  In the majority of communion services I've administered or been a part of the plates are passed and each person retrieves their own.
